The in-game zoo tour highlights your next starter objective and can jump you directly to the relevant section. Follow it to earn early rewards while learning the core loop.
The Command screen also shows Starter Recovery prompts if your zoo is stuck, a compact objective tracker, active incident cards, morning report briefings, and Why numbers are moving chips when income, popularity, or reputation have clear positive or negative drivers.
Build your first enclosure
Open Habitats, pick a size, and build your first enclosure. Enclosures take real time to finish — see Enclosures.
Buy animals
Open Animals, select an enclosure, then buy an animal. They arrive after transport time.
Keep them healthy and happy
- Feed animals when hunger is high.
- Heal animals when health is low.
- Clean enclosures to keep cleanliness up.
Grow your zoo
Build Attractions, hire Workers, and increase Popularity to earn more visitors per tick. Remember workers have ongoing salaries deducted every tick.
Long-term progression
- Unlock passive boosts in Research.
- Build long-term standing through Reputation & Paths.
- Compare progress on Leaderboards.
- Use Society for clubs, chat, training, trades, production, and seasonal activity.
Helpful tips
- Most actions now happen directly in their related places (no separate shop flow needed).
- On mobile, the bottom dock keeps Command, Tasks, Habitats, and Reports close; everything else is in More.
- Selected habitats have a drawer with common actions like feed, heal, clean, repair, enrich, upgrade, staff, and view animals.
- If you remove an enclosure by mistake, use the short undo window.
- Check the in-game updates panel on the dashboard to see what changed recently.
- Open Tasks daily to claim login rewards and build your streak.
- Visit Settings & Account Controls for digest, export, and account actions.
