Workers are hired per enclosure and only affect that enclosure. Each worker can be enabled/disabled at any time.
Worker types
- Keeper โ auto-feeds animals using food supplies.
- Vet โ auto-heals animals using medical supplies.
- Janitor โ auto-cleans enclosures using cleaning supplies.
Hiring costs
Hiring cost scales per worker type as you expand:
baseCost ร 3^(count hired of that kind)
Base costs:
- Keeper: $900
- Vet: $1,200
- Janitor: $800
Salaries (per tick)
Workers are paid every tick (every 60 seconds) based on how many animals are in their enclosure:
- Salary = base + (per-animal ร animals in their enclosure)
- Salaries are automatically deducted from your balance each tick
- This means workers cost more as their enclosure fills up
Levels
Workers gain XP from automation and level up to perform more actions per tick. Higher levels mean more efficient automation.
Tips
- Assign at least one worker per enclosure to boost Popularity.
- Keep Items stocked so workers can act.
- Disable workers in enclosures with few animals to save on salary costs.
- Workers level up over time โ keep them employed long-term for better efficiency.
